The Sangre de Cristo National Heritage Area (SdCNHA) provides scholarships to students in the Colorado History Day Regional and State Competition. Students project who place first must have a topic or theme related to the San Luis Valley in any category.
The mission of the SdCNHA is to promote, preserve, protect and interpret the history, cultures, and heritage of Alamosa, Conejos, and Costilla counties and protected lands.
